Livingston Parish is within 75 miles of the 3 deepwater ports on the Mississippi
River including the Port of Greater Baton Rouge, Port of New Orleans, and Port of
South Louisiana. Livingston Parish is just 15 miles from deepwater at the Port of
Greater Baton Rouge. The Port has a 45 foot depth on the Mississippi River accommodating
barge and ship traffic. The port handles grain, cement and various other products.

Livingston Parish is just 20 minutes from the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport offering
approximately 16 flights a day via 4 international airlines including Delta, Continental,
Northwest and American. The Airport’s master plan includes the extension of runways
(currently 7,000 ft.) and cargo space development. Travelers to the parish and capital
region have the best of both worlds by also having access to international flights
and additional domestic through the New Orleans International Airport (10,080 ft.
runway and cargo facilities.)
